At Crosswater we believe the Bible calls all Christians to minister and be ministered to by others who are in Christ. A key way to do that is through participation in Community Groups.
We have a variety of Community Groups available throughout the year. In order to meet everyone's needs we offer low-key, fellowship oriented groups, a deeper discipleship track and just about everything in between.

Discipleship:
Belief in CHRIST is designed to reproduce. Our faith is meant to be active, not passive. In this way, following the teachings of JESUS (not just learning them) is important for every believer. When a learner wants to not just
know, but also grow AND show what they have been taught, they become a follower – also called a disciple . In
Matthew 28:19, JESUS told His followers to “go and make disciples.”
Because of this, we feel it is important to offer intentional discipleship opportunities as part of our Community Group ministry. This is done through our
Know, Grow and Show discipleship groups. These groups are aimed at helping followers
Know JESUS more deeply, Grow in their relationship with JESUS and
Show the
difference JESUS has made to those around them.
Each tri-mester we offer various studies/groups that fit within these
Know, Grow and Show categories. Our hope is to eventually offer multiple levels of groups in order to facilitate increasing levels of Christian maturity which will in turn produce new leaders.
