Dixie Montgomery leads teams to visit communities in Dessalines, Haiti at least twice a year bringing
supplies and providing oversight, accountability and encouragement. On several of the trips, they have
also provided fluoride treatments, dental education and new toothbrushes for each child attending a
Hope in Haiti school. As medical needs surface within the communities where HIH works, HIH is able to
notify their donor and sponsor network of the needs and funds that can be sent to help with specific
medical costs.

Pastor John conducts the Family Worship Service within the prison walls at the minimum security facility
where inmates and their family members can attend church services together. He also meets

In the Bible school the Lunn’s work with, the focus is upon enabling the students to study the Bible for
themselves using the inductive method of Bible Study. James and Sarah teach lectures in the class, but
the majority of the students time is spent outside of class going through each book of the Bible and
studying it themselves. In the process they observe, then interpret, and then apply what the text says.
The Lunns’ vision is to help equip pastors and leaders throughout the developing world in understanding
God’s Word.
