The inaugural Donut Dash .5k (…ish) is coming to Sultan, Saturday, July 13th at 10am just before the Shindig parade.  We hope to make this a new annual tradition benefitting causes both locally and globally with this year’s dash bennefitting Caleb’s Dream, our effort to raise $216,337 to build a health center in the town of Vatao, Burkina Faso through Walk in the Light International (visit our Caleb’s Dream page here).
The Donut Dash .5k (…ish) isn’t a 5k, half-marathon, marathon or ironman style event, rather, it is an event for the rest of us.  The Donut Dash .5k (…ish) is a grueling, almost, half kilometer through the heart of Sultan centered around everyone’s favorite breakfast treat, the donut.  All registered participants will receive our sweet Donut Dash .5k (…ish) t-shirt AND 2 delicious donuts.
Participants will start out on Main and 8th and make their way all the way to 4th street where they will end the event with a donut.  Don’t worry though, there will be a donut station at the mid-point as well to make sure you can keep your energy up all the way to the finish. We encourage you to have fun, ham it up and even dress in costumes (family-friendly please) for this great event.  Sorry, no dogs, skates, bikes or rollerblades allowed.
Strollers are welcome but must start at the back of the pack
Register below for your chance to have some fun and to help save lives through the Caleb’s Dream health center.
