Thanks for joining us today!
Jesus told His disciples “it is to your advantage that I go away…” because doing so allowed for the coming of the Holy Spirit. We are not to merely exist as passive believers waiting for the return of Jesus. Instead, as Christ-followers we are “Empowered” by the Spirit, enabling us to live a life characterized by boldness, unity, and unwavering faith in order to bring the transformative love and life of Jesus Christ to the world around us.
GOD cannot be stopped, and yet even HIS followers struggle to trust HIM, believe HIM and obey HIM, especially when things are bad. HE is faithful to complete the work HE begins in us (Phil. 1:6) so as the old song says, "Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in JESUS, but to trust and obey."

What is one example (besides your salvation) in your life of GOD doing something you thought was impossible?

Please discuss how GOD is answering the prayers of HIS people from back in Acts 4:29-30 during this time in Acts 5.
When has GOD given you something challenging/difficult that has resulted in HIS glory and your benefit? Please testify to HIS goodness.

What do you think the point of Gamaliel's speech about those two false Messiah's is? Could he have been a secret believer of JESUS (John 12:42)? Why or why not?
How is the apostle's reaction to their beating a miracle & show their commitment to JESUS and HIS kingdom?
How do you explain why GOD sometimes delivers people out of hardship or suffering but at other times allows them to go through it?
