Thanks for joining us today!
Jesus told His disciples “it is to your advantage that I go away…” because doing so allowed for the coming of the Holy Spirit. We are not to merely exist as passive believers waiting for the return of Jesus. Instead, as Christ-followers we are “Empowered” by the Spirit, enabling us to live a life characterized by boldness, unity, and unwavering faith in order to bring the transformative love and life of Jesus Christ to the world around us.
GOD is so awesome that HE is not limited by what limits us and yet HE lovingly includes us in building HIS kingdom. This includes the really bad, stinky things that happen. We get to and need to trust HIM, obey HIM and believe that HE can do "far more abundantly than all we ask or think " HE is our power!

As we conclude this 7-week series on GOD's power in HIS people what are some principles, thoughts, reminders, etc. that are sticking with you?

In your own words please describe the problem the early church was experiencing here. How did they solve it?

How does a person get full of GOD's HOLY SPIRIT, wisdom, grace and power? What are some examples of what a full life like Stephen's looks like today?
As you have time please re-read Acts 7-8:4
In this account of Stephen before the Sanhedrin in what ways is Stephen like JESUS? In what ways is he different from JESUS?
Please make a list of how GOD has used tragedy, difficulty or unlikely circumstances to do great things in your life or the lives of others you know.
Please pray and thank GOD for HIS faithfulness to accomplish way more than we can on our own and to use wildly unlikely means to do so.
